I am often asked what equipment I use and trust. After many years of testing different products, and through much trial and error, I have come to settle on a select few that I really love and trust in the field:
Cameras - Canon 5DS R, Canon 5D Mark IV and the newest is Fujifilm's Medium Format GFX 50s
Lenses- The Canon 16-35 f/2.8L III USM, EF 24-70 f/2.8L II USM, EF 70-200 f/2.8L IS II USM are always with me. For specialty shoots I use the TSE24 f/3.5L II for architecture, the EF 8-15 f/4L Fisheye for diving and the EF100 f/2.8L IS USM for macro. On the Fuji side I just have the Fujifilm GF 32-64 F4 LM WR and the GF 23 F4 R LM WR.
Tripods - Really Right Stuff TVC 34L with the BH55 Ballhead and Leveling Base. I also use the RRS L-Plates on all my cameras and use thier travel tripod and clamp for specialty shoots.
Backpacks - F-Stop Gear's Anja, Tilopa and Guru UL depending on what I need to bring with me and how far I'm going. I use a couple different sizes of their ICU (Internal Camera Units) to configure my equipment and as extra storage when not in use.
Filters - Lee Filter System with 15, 10 and 6 Stop IRNDs, Circular Polarizer, assorted graduated and standard NDs.
Drones - DJI's Mavic Pro is always in my backpack and for production shoots I bring the DJI Inspire 2.
Software - Adobe CC Photographer's Plan (Lightroom and Photoshop) plus the new Skylum (aka Macphun) Luminar and Aurora HDR.
