The Bisti/De-Na-Zin wilderness area covers roughly 60 square miles or remote badlands near Farmington, NM.  It used to be a coastal swamp of an inland sea which now proudly presents these remnants on the as very unusual scenery now on the desert floor.  Some of the items here are:  petrified wood, hoodoos, arches, and other unusual formation such as the Cracked Eggs/Alien Hatchery as seen in these images.
