Hanging lake is a mountain lake situated about 1.5 miles up from the Colorado River to the top of Glenwood Canyon cliffs. The lake’s foundation is created from travertine is always a beautiful turquoise. A little further up the trail from the lake you will also find small waterfall that feeds into the lake below.
